Growing network VAR received an actionable two-year strategic plan that executive management used as a structure for guiding strategic decisions. The plan successfully supported the firm's efforts to obtain outside debt financing that financed continued growth.
Highlights
  • The organization's strategic plan focused on markets, product lines, revenue goals, cost structures and ideal sale analysis.

  • Organization revenue mix was about 90% product sales, 10% consulting fees (circa 1995 when network and PC product sales still had good profit margins) and moved toward a 75/25 split target.

  • Was instrumental in obtaining exclusive rights for the firm to represent two PC manufacturers in the Federal government arena. Also managed / wrote the technical aspects of the firm's GSA Schedule 70 contract for these manufacturers.
